These shades are the worlds first vegetable awnings, and with installation it helps improve climate control within structured areas. They also help create shade which is becoming more and more crucial as we all try and get through this record breaking summer.
They are sail shaped which allows for easy installation between buildings, and it allows people to enjoy vegetation is places where space is limited.
Vegetation within cities also helps reduce pollution by filtering harmful gases. Plants absorb NOX as well as CO2 which contributes to air quality. They reduce noise by absorbing the waves, making busy cities a little more bearable.
Green Shades also help regulate humidity and decrease temperature through the evapotranspiration process. When placed and installed, they reduce the temperature in their surroundings as well as under the roof, so they act as air conditioners.
What do you think of these shades? Do you think they should become a requirement Igor when new buildings are being built?
